My Son and I both drove an hour from different directions to meet up for his birthday yesterday. I picked the Windrush Inn because it was in the middle more or less and because of the reviews.Well, it was worth it. What a great place. Its a lovely bar/restaurant with a decent amount of parking and outside seating space. Absolutely love this place!Such a great relaxed atmosphereThe food is amazing, its more than " pub grub"It's dog friendly and there is 2 black cats that live there!!Faultless. Booking is essential as they do get booked up!!!Free parkingKid friendly and GF optionsThe staff are friendly and a extra shout out to the male bar staff we had serve us, was so lovely, constantly working and attentative to us.Best pub in witney! Probably actually best in the whole cotswold.

A bit of a late review but still worthy!We, as a group of friends, organise an annual camping trip over the Easter weekend and this year (due to horrid weather) we decided to try and get a nice lunch booked somewhere local.It was always going to be tricky with 8 adults, 9 kids & 2 dogs, but the staff at The Windrush were brilliant from the first phone call.They were happy to move furniture around to accommodate us all and put on a fab Sunday Roast.All the staff were attentive...read full review
