If you are looking for the best coffee around then head to Scandimania in Uppingham. I am a local so visit on a regular basis. Amazing choices for coffee, juices and food, cinnamon & cardoman buns being my ultimate favourite. Staff on the whole are pleasant apart from one member of staff who let's the whole place down. Fortunately, she is not there all the time. If you do not mind being spoken to abruptly and in a rude manner by non smiling member of staff, it won't put you off....read full review
Always great coffee in this swanky little coffee shop in Uppingham. My go to is a flat white and so many cafes (particularly large chains!) can’t get it right. But the flat white here is lovely with a froth that lasts for the whole drink and a deep rich flavour. As you might guess from the name the decor is wooden and earthy. Relaxing. Superb selection of cakes- we purchased the coffee/walnut and lemon/ almond ones. The goats cheese/chutney/walnut toasties on sourdough were very tasty, as was the moist chocolatey banana bread with cinnamon butter.Peaceful atmosphere in the courtyard. It’s always a pleasure to visit Scandi.
