Shore Road, ArrocharThank you, Cu Mara, for another delicious meal - the hot Scottie burger for me and the wagyu burger for my friend, followed by the shared indulgence of a cinnamon swirl cheesecake. Absolutely delicious!
Oh, and the Merlot was pretty good too.
I have to comment on the service though, it was excellent; attentive yet subtle, and always with genuine smiles.
Thank you. This place is such a gem, on the shores of one of the prettiest places around!

Forest Holidays, Ardgartan, ArrocharHad the most beautiful time here, staff were all fantastic and friendly. They had a nicely stocked small shop and activities throughout. Close to some nice walks and the cabin was clean and lovely.

Village Inn
Loch Long, Shore Road, ArrocharWe have been visiting the Village Inn for many years to eat and drink, so this time we decided to stay overnight for a few days.\nWe couldn’t be happier with our room it was clean, nicely furnished, well equipped and had an amazing view of Loch Long.\nJames the manager welcomed us back like old friends as did Ali, Charlie and Logan who looked after us in the bar and restaurant.\nFood was excellent, we chose different dishes every meal and we were never disappointed. I would highly recommend the sausage and mash or the venison pie ?.\nBreakfast was generous and well cooked every day with an excellent full Scottish ??????? on the menu as well as several other great choices. I was genuinely sad to leave this fantastic place, but we will certainly return soon. Thank you Village Inn.

Craigard, A83, ArrocharHad an absolutely wonderful experience at the Arrochar Tea Room today! The burger was outstanding - perfectly cooked, fresh ingredients, and beautifully presented. You can really taste the quality in every bite.\nTo finish off the meal, I treated myself to a cream and jam scone which was simply delicious. The scone was light and fluffy, with generous portions of fresh cream and jam that complemented it perfectly.\nI’ll be honest, the prices are a bit on the higher side, but the exceptional quality of the food completely justifies the cost. You definitely get what you pay for here - everything is clearly made with care and attention to detail using top-quality ingredients.\nThe atmosphere is lovely and the service was excellent throughout. I’ll definitely be returning when I’m back in Arrochar. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality food in beautiful surroundings!

Arrochar Chippy - Fish and Chips
Prospect Place, ArrocharMost fish and chip shops I've visited have left me disappointed, with stale, tasteless fish, too much batter, and prices that don’t match the quality.\n\nHowever, after a day of mountaineering in the Arrochar Alps with my brother, we decided to give this chippy a go for a well-deserved meal, and I’m glad we did! The fish was excellently cooked, bursting with flavour—definitely fresh, which is rare for white fish (especially compared to those frozen for months in Grimsby). And perfectly complemented by a generous dosing of fresh lemon and tartar sauce ... lovely!\n\nThe hospitality of the lady serving us was warm and welcoming, creating a lovely atmosphere. Another thing that truly set this place apart from other chippies was its delightful scent, thanks to juniper and other scented candles rather than the typical greasy smell. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and I would highly recommend it for anyone wanting a reasonably priced meal after a hard day on the mountain!
