Cafe and Restaurant, Potarch, BanchoryLovely spot for brunch with lovely staff. Quite possibly my favourite brunch/lunch menu ever! Something for everyone including children's menu, vegan/veggie dishes, and options to add various extras and sides too. Good coffee. A few parasols/canopies outside would be the only thing that could improve the experience - lucky to visit on a very hot day. We sat inside which was lovely and cool. Dog friendly in and out and plenty parking too!

Tor-Na-Coille Hotel
Inchmarlo Rd, BanchoryReally nice hotel. Room was huge, loads of storage. Nice touch with a jar of sweets and chocolate, that got replenished. The staff were really friendly. The bar staff were knowledgeable about the drinks on offer. The food was really good.

10 Dee St, BanchoryDelivery staff are always friendly and down to earth. Food is great. I’ve made multiple edits and changes to my order and they’ve never refused or complained in the slightest, like some other restaurants/takeaways do. I ordered extra anchovies, they didn’t have any left so they offered me multiple extra toppings, meat or veg for free. On top of the original order.
They are always bang on time, or early.

22 Station Rd, Torphins, BanchoryVery pleasant compact Cafe along with an in house pottery, prints etc. Selection of Tea ? great coffee ☕️ & a variety of cakes, plus a soup of the day which was very nice with quality tasty bread ? or a choice of croissant ? / cheese scones. Very pleasant service. The property is being upgraded to house larger facilities for all elements of the business. ??

46 Station Rd, BanchoryWhat an amazing place to take your doggy. Teddy got sausages and doggy ice cream. Service was so quick, very friendly and lots of delicious food.

71 High St, BanchoryAmazing experience! Family owned restaurant and it really feels like an authentic experience. Not only is the food amazing (we've had pizza), but the service is top tier. The owner greeted us like family and even gave us free margherita slices that were freshly made without us asking. Would definitely recommend!

My favourite is the chicken tikka biryani. Absolutely superb.

Tease Coffee Bar
17 High St, BanchoryFrom the minute we stepped foot inside Tease,we felt welcome.
Service was amazing I had a pannini which was freshly made and very hot.
My wife had a bacon roll again freshly cooked and very hot,both were very tasty.
We cannot wait till next time we are in Banchory for our next visit.

Scolty Cafe
Ternan House, 6 N Deeside Rd, BanchoryCome here often with family and friends and really enjoy it. There is indoor and an outdoor seating area with a little play section for children. Kids eat free during the holidays with a purchased adult meal which is a bonus. The food is delicious and fairly priced. My favourite is the salt and pepper chicken loaded fries. Definitely would recommend.

74 High St, BanchoryDesperate for a coffee as we drove through Banorchy from the Cairngorms headed to Edinburgh we spied this cafe and decided to grab a takeaway coffee.
Without doubt the best coffee I have had since leaving Australia 6 weeks ago. The owner knew his stuff, roasts their own coffee and knocked out a smashing cup. So good I had to go back for a second before hitting the road.
Conversation was great, a wonderful 15 minute break on a long drive.
So thankful to have accidentally picked this cafe…highly recommend

Milton Brasserie
Milton of Crathes, BanchoryI often stop here for very good espresso seated outdoors when with dogs. Great to have had the opportunity to eat indoors in the conservatory area this afternoon. I really appreciated that it serves its cooked breakfasts all day ?. I would definitely have the Milton Breakfast again but next time I'll ask for a side of marmalade with the toast. Others eating with me had haddock goujons and caesar salad and both enjoyed. Staff really welcoming and atmosphere informal and friendly.

Raemoir House
Raemoir House, BanchoryMy sister recently got married here on August 2nd, and words cannot do this place and the owners justice. Stunning location, steeped in history. We stayed a night and the whole family thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Neil stayed up till 2/3am showing me the old guestbook and chatting about the history of the place! He and his team really went above and beyond for us, constantly adapting to our last minute changes and I cannot thank them enough. A weekend we will never forget.

Restaurant in the garden
Rose Cottage, Raemoir Rd, BanchoryWent for brunch with our family that live in Scotland and we absolutely loved the place! Visiting from Greece, my 7yrs old son loved their breakfast options and their tarts!
I on the other hand was lost in the Garden Center among all those amazing things being sold! Loved their highland cow themed mugs!!

The Cowshed Restaurant & Takeaway
Raemoir Rd, BanchoryIn the area for a few nights and found The Cowshed so turned up on the Saturday without booking a table. Thankfully they were able to fit us in and wow so glad they did. Food was amazing and great value for money. It was so good we booked a table for the Sunday.
Highly recommend if you are in the area.
Super friendly staff and lovely restaurant with lovely views of the surrounding countryside.

Famous House Chinese Takeaway

Dee St, BanchoryBanchory Lodge was the perfect venue for my best friend’s wedding — stunning setting, lovely rooms, and a fantastic atmosphere throughout. The staff were brilliant and the bar selection was spot on. Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend! David and his team really looked after us all very well.

Fresh tasted fresh wasn’t overdone it was just spot on,
Chips was lovely and soft in the inside and nice and crispy on the outside
Curry sauce was perfect wasn’t too spicy however wasn’t too mild and didn’t have a bitter taste like some chippys.
Evenly salted and nominated with good quantity not under not over done.
Two boy servers were super friendly you could tell one was new however learning quick and done the best to his ability.
Waiting time was under 4 minutes
Parking: On street parking to the west of the shop plenty of room depending on time to the east the street becomes narrow with private driveways needing constant 24/7 access.
Wheelchair accessibility: No steps to access near by on street parking available however not recommended during peek times

Shakes 'n' Cakes @ The Nile
3 Dee St, BanchoryWho ever serves you it's always a warm welcome and great service. Had not had a kebab for over 2 years before having one from here and we were not disappointed ! Def going on a regular basis now even though its 23 mile away. Keep it up !
