Fantastic food! Good quality proper food. Hubby had steak pie - amazing and I had the chicken burger which was 100% chicken breast. Will definitely be back. Dog was welcome too!!
It’s a small bar as you enter, and it’s clearly popular as there was nowhere to sit. We were hoping to try the food so ordered drinks while the clientele made us welcome and offered us their seats. We were shown to the restaurant by a cheerful waitress and we’re pleasantly surprised by the selection of food available. A good standard menu as well as the weekend specials which change each week. Good honest cooking in a relaxed setting. Excellent service despite being very busy on the evening we went. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals and we look forward to returning soon.
