When the nearby Dawyck Gardens cafe had a slow-moving, lengthy queue we abandoned the idea of lunch there and stopped off at Laurel Bank en route home to Biggar (5 miles away). We've been previously to the tea room, which has had a number of reincarnations over the years, but it is currently back to being a fairly traditional tea room. Wonderful tea room! Staff brilliant, food incredible! Such a lovely place to enjoy home cooked food in very comfortable and welcoming place! The music was exactly to our liking as well, quiet Spanish guitar and some dreamy old jazz songs! Will go again on our next visit to the area.

Stopped off here for a quick coffee.Lovely little cafe. Cheese scones and black pudding rolls went down a treat.This is a great wee break stop and the service was excellent. 10/10. ?Parking: Easy to park on the main street
