Beetroot Bar & Grill

We had booked to go for lunch there, but our friends called off on us. So we went for breakfast the food was great and the staff are super friendly. My two girls (4 and 6) loved their visit. The ladies made them feel special. Will happily visit Beetroot again.

Luci's Restaurant & Cocktail Bar

Love dining here, food and service is always fantastic and friendly, great wine list too. Ordered the steak ciabatta and carbonara, excellent quality and portion sizes, can’t wait for my next visit.

The Anvil Inn

New to Bonnyrigg- the Anvil is my local now - me and my partner went there Friday night and the food was amazing !! Great staff - great atmosphere and fab food !!! What else can you ask for ?

The Polton Inn

Excellent food (excellent veggie burger & skin-on fries), friendly staff.I'm just not a fan of the sound of small kids on iPads without headphones.Nice place for locals to socialise.Vegetarian options: Excellent mushroom & halloumi burger.

Greggs

This sausage roll peddling shop in particular does a good coffee with extra shot, the bacon, sausage and egg tripler rolls are esqusite.Would thoroughly recommend for breakfast.

Bayne's the Family Bakers

Bayne's bakery in Bonnyrigg Midlothian, the staff are very pleasant, the young new starts get excellent training and guidance from the more mature ladies. And best of all the food is good!!!

Calderwood Inn

An elderly gentleman's pub where everyone can feel welcome. Very good service and it is very convenient for Bonnyrig Rose the current champions of the Lowland League.

Mayflower

Tried this for the first time and was not to bad.. got special fried rice... wee bit disappointed with this because it was missing chopped ham and omlette on top. So 4

The Royal Oak

A very warm welcome for all and a ( never thought I'd admit this due to the brand ) fantastically tasty pint of Carling! Always a pleasure to pop in for a pint and a catch up with everyone and put music on the jukebox! Hugs x

The Baguette Bar

Bannoc Brewhouse

The bar is beautifully decorated, and it is a great place to go for a quiet drink. The beer options are great, but the cocktails are quite disappointing. The majority are made with funkin cocktails mix and taste very artificial and cheap. The carafes are pleasant.

Glorias Fast Food

Ordered two children's fish and chip meals - the fish was extremely dry. A large fish had been cut in two and then stuck back under the heat lamps. The kids were impressed with the box of treats though.This is an extremely busy chippy and the staff are extremely hard working.

Bonnie Cafe Doner Kebab & Pizza

Went for the first time today and was well impressed. I had a bacon and egg roll. The bacon was delicious and served on a large fluffy fresh roll. The coffee was top notch. The staff were very friendly too. Will be back.

Canton Chinese

Consistently great food and very quick delivery, the special chowmein is always a winner and loaded with a good variety of meat and King prawns with thin noodles too

Hong Kong Chinese Take Away

aye, gid food an aw. Defo the best in bonny!! Highly recommend ordering from this place instead of the others from bonny. Love a cheeky hong kong. Sublime and tasty.

Pia's Takeaway

Not been in a while. As we had visitors, we thought a fish supper was in order. My sister and family live in Glasgow but love having salt and sauce on their suppers! Thank you for our tea. We've had it!!
