Gilmerton Rd, EdinburghI booked an Afternoon Tea for my mums 70th birthday. Our server was lovely, friendly and polite, even wishing my mum happy birthday as we were seated. She double checked our allergies from our booking form and i realised I hadn't included an allergy to egg. However the Chef was extremely accommodating and ensured my Neice had a delicious selection of sandwiches and sweet treats at very short notice. We will definitely return.

The staff were so accommodating for example I asked if my coconut monkfish curry could be made with more spice, and it came out with the most beautiful kick to it. The food was genuinely 5*. At first we thought the service was a little slow but as soon as we even tasted our starters we all agreed it surpassed expectations and was well worth the wait. The steaks were melt in the mouth, cooked to perfection, and the tomato kids pasta was stunning.My 4yo had wanted to meet the chef to say thanks for her pasta and he happily came out..nothing was too much trouble.Fine dining quality with a homely atmosphere.
