The Melville Inn
Melville Nurseries, LasswadeWe recently had a meal at the Melville Inn, I hadn’t been here for a number of years. My husband and I both had steaks and I have to say they were fantastic, well seasoned and melt in the mouth. The chef who cooked them did a top class job and we both agreed we hadn’t tasted such a good steak in a long time. The staff are all very friendly and attentive and the place does have a nice comfortable feeling to it . My only criticism would be the buzzing sound from the emergency exit door did bug me however this overall did not spoil my meal and we will definitely be returning. Thank you and well done ??

Kings Acre Bar & Restaurant, LasswadeLovely outlook over the golf course with the fountain spouting and the ducks basking by the side. We had an omelette as my lunch partner is gluten intolerant and they cater for people with this allergy. Not always hit cakes but asked to phone as some tray bakes they do are gluten-free. Service was good but short staff only 1 person serving but we didn't wait too long on food. Will return
