This was a great night out for my wife and myself. Great welcome, friendly staff and the food was fantastic. Traditional menu selection but I would recommend the steak and ale pie and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Generous portions and very tasty. The pastry top was excellent. Wee local pub. Has a function room/restaurant side but that part has been closed mostly for meals since the pandemic I think so haven't been able to have a meal there yet (hence the 4 stars)
