Shimla Palace Indian Restaurant
Namaste Shimla Palace, Central Park Stadium, High St, CowdenbeathOn our way back from Inverness to Luton, we stopped for a lunch break at a restaurant. It was a nice, clean, and cozy place with very tidy washrooms. They offered a buffet lunch for £15 per person, which featured a wide variety of non-vegetarian options, a little less numbers of vegetarian options, but an impressive selection of delicious desserts.
Although the number of vegetarian options was limited compared to the non-vegetarian choices, the service was excellent. We were able to request a dish that wasn't on the menu, and the chef kindly prepared Kadhai paneer for us.
A few vegetarian options I remember included poppadoms, fries, noodles, naan, mixed vegetables, pakoras, and salads. I would definitely recommend this place!

Greek delight
321 High St, CowdenbeathReally tasty food – the gyros was full of flavor and nicely cooked. It was a little on the salty side for my taste, but still absolutely delicious. Friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere. I’d happily come back!

40 Main St, Crossgates, CowdenbeathI ordered from this place yesterday and I was a bit skeptical at first due to its reviews but I decided to give it a shot. It came in just over 25 minutes and the food was still steaming hot. This place surprisingly has some really good food. 10/10

Main St, Hill of Beath, CowdenbeathThe Chef will do Asian/Western meals to your taste. I often eat food, I haven't eaten in 30 years. I love my hot & sour soup they do for me. Tonight I had a Special Chowmein with extra veg. TO DIE FOR! The set meals, the food and the service are fantastic with quick delivery! Cannot fault them and they are a hidden gem! Thank you chef!

New Peking Inn

All the food was cooked perfectly and was nicer than some of the Chinese takeaways in Glasgow at half the price!
Quick delivery, lovely delivery driver and even got free prawn crackers and fortune cookies!
