Excellent dinner, best on our visit to Orkney last 30th September 2023.Refined cuisine, well-prepared dishes, excellent raw materials and cooked with technique and talent.Room service present but discreet, with great attention to detail.Absolutely not to be missed, unforgettable for us.

The Skerries restaurant at the Merkister hotel is lovely. The service is good and the staff friendly. The food is tasty with daily specials. The views out to the loch are fab. After your meal have a walk by the loch. Enjoy, we did.

Skara Brae Cafe

We had some lovely cakes, though never tried anything else, it was really busy but that was to be expected with it being a popular tourist spot.Hats off to the staff for managing the high turnover so well.

The Pier Bistro & Takeaway

Absolutely delicious Fish and Chips ......Perfect Batter on the Fish .......highly recommend this Cafe........Brilliant Service........lovely smiley Staff........

Gerri's Ice Cream Parlour

Lovely little Ice Cream shop with very nice Ice Cream. The lady was very pleasant which was nice as I went to a store in Finstown the other day for Ice Cream and they where not so nice.

Stromness Chinese Takeaway

Visited here on holiday and Al I can say us Define food! I don’t get all the cats, the food was tasty and the service was very quick! I got spare ribs and sweet and sour chicken and both were not greasy, well cooked, and delivered in a timely fashion.

The Scapa Flow Restaurant

Was here for breakfast, which I can honestly say was one of the best I have ever had,The service was friendly and excellent, attentive but not in your face, very knowledgeable, and as my wife only drinks decaf tea, they tried their best to acquire it but couldn't at short notice and was very apologetic for that.The food itself was excellent and there was something for everyone as we were a large group with different tastes and requirements I really can't rate it high enough and look forward to returning for dinner to try more of their menu.The price too was very good.Well done keep up the first class standard.
