The Cabin, Melvich By, ThursoWhat an absolutely superb stop off for food and drink between Thurso and Tongue on the NC500. Brilliant toasty and chocolate was excellent. The ladies are really friendly, so helpful and some great advice about where to visit locally.

Strathy, ThursoVery charming bed & breakfast. The dinner was freshly prepared and tasty. Nice whiskey menu with decent prices. For breakfast you have several options from which you have to choose at your arrival. Breakfast is also freshly prepared. Owners are very kind.

At the Bettyhill Hotel, BettyhillI was here for one night dinner and breakfast dinner was good but breakfast was not what I expected I ordered some egg dish that I’ve got before and knew what I liked but it almost tasted dull

Clachan Cafe, Bettyhill, ThursoHats off to the wonderful ladies making the lovely bakes and food, lovely wee stop but bit disappointed by the boy Jamie, I think his name was today, his behaviour to the other staff was rude and appalling and I stood in disbelief at him, he made our coffees cold because he was to busy saying he’s too busy to the other staff, apart from that and his arrogance to customers who were also nice
The ladies were lovely, serving beautiful home food I thank them for a good filling meal on the road will come again ❤️?????????✌?

Bettyhill Tourist Information & Cafe
A836, Bettyhill, ThursoGreat location and friendly staff. Excellent meals and a good variety on the menu. A great place for a walk with views of a pretty beach. Staff assisted us in getting our bags to our room up the stairs. Only drawback was luggage table would have been good.
