The Cabin, Melvich By, ThursoWhat an oasis of lovely food! We were a couple of hungry travellers along the A836, despairing of finding anything to eat until we reached Thurso, when suddenly we found this place! Five minutes later, we had yummy bacon sandwiches and drinks from the very friendly people who run the place, and we were on our way again. Five stars all round.

Strathy, ThursoVery charming bed & breakfast. The dinner was freshly prepared and tasty. Nice whiskey menu with decent prices. For breakfast you have several options from which you have to choose at your arrival. Breakfast is also freshly prepared. Owners are very kind.

Clachan Cafe, Bettyhill, ThursoHats off to the wonderful ladies making the lovely bakes and food, lovely wee stop but bit disappointed by the boy Jamie, I think his name was today, his behaviour to the other staff was rude and appalling and I stood in disbelief at him, he made our coffees cold because he was to busy saying he’s too busy to the other staff, apart from that and his arrogance to customers who were also nice
The ladies were lovely, serving beautiful home food I thank them for a good filling meal on the road will come again ❤️?????????✌?

Bettyhill Tourist Information & Cafe
A836, Bettyhill, ThursoGreat location and friendly staff. Excellent meals and a good variety on the menu. A great place for a walk with views of a pretty beach. Staff assisted us in getting our bags to our room up the stairs. Only drawback was luggage table would have been good.
