We ate Lunch at the Globe on the 28th of December 2023 in the snug due to our canine company. The food was amazing and we were treated to amuse bouche and other small additions throughout our meal. Exeptional. The Globe's management are dettermined that that they will earn a michelin star, as we were informed by the Maître d' on arrival. Came here today with friends for a meal and Xmas drinks. Had a great afternoon! Superb food, superb atmosphere, superb staff - special thanks to Kiera who has an encyclopedic knowledge and really looked after us. Well worth a visit - we'll be back!

Very good food indeed. Good service from cheerful staff, but be prepared for a big bill. It is a very historic building, where Robert Burns definitely went in his time. It's been there since 1610
