We visited this beautiful wee gem tucked away in this pleasant suburb of Edinburgh: Newington. The lovely couple who own it ( and two sister restaurants in the city) explained they have changed their emphasis to wine by the glass or bottle with upmarket snacks from local high quality suppliers such as Iain Mellis cheese. We booked to come here on Sunday night and were so glad - they are shut MOndasy-Wedensdays. Welcomed from the front door, nice comforatbale and priavte seating, wide ranging menu and great food. I had scallops and slamon, and my companion had the soup (beetroot with a mild kick and delvcious) and the sprouts. An absolutely repeatable experince.

Booked here as we were staying nearby. We were not disappointed! Lovely little restaurant and the food was fabulous! Different menu with things we hadn't tried before. Will definitely visit again when we're in Edinburgh.
