It was a lovely day outside and I chose August 21 for my study session today. There is wifi and plenty of plugs. Such a cozy atmosphere with the nicest staff. Great selection of sandwiches, cakes, scones and coffee. There are more spaces at the back and some books, board games and cards for people to enjoy. Very dog friendly as well with available dog treats. There are also some beautiful local art on the walls that I didn't put here because you should definitely see for yourselves....read full review

August 21 is a really pleasant café, the food is good and the coffee is also good. It is very dog friendly and my dog loves sitting on the "window sill" watching the street. Friendly staff and slightly off beat décor, a good all round stop for lunch or a coffee. I have two small criticisms, the toilet is tiny, so small it's awkward. And they do not open until 09:30 which is way past the time I need my morning coffee.

Very special place with delicious food and friendly atmosphere. Every Wednesday from 7pm till 9pm there's an open mic night. You can order cakes and coffee and listen to some amazing music and poetry by local artists and it's my favourite place.Come and check out
