Canny Man's isn't your ordinary tourist trap. This place is a true Scottish gem – a pub and restaurant that feels like it's been welcoming characters (and maybe a wee dram or two) for centuries. It’s such a shocking bar. The dazzling old objects inside are filled with the entire bar and even the ceiling. The dim yellow light reflects lazily and softly on various old objects, making people feel like they are in a Wong Kar-Wai restaurant. In the movie scene, reality and illusion seem to swing back and forth...so it is a bar worth visiting
Little disappointed on this visit to the Canny Man, barmaid serving drinks was friendly, didn't find the lady taking food orders very friendly or polite, having spent over 120.00 for a couple of hours mainly on our drinks, was a little disappointed with my dining experience on this occasion.
