My friend and I had lunch at The Baillie a couple of weeks ago. The food and service was absolutely outstanding! Every course we had was quickly served, lovely and very tasty. The soup of the day was French Onion which had a lovely buttery flavour and it was served with warm and beautifully soft ciabatta. Cozy little bar, nice waiters, one of them told us about his connections in Hungary after he found out where we came from. The food is delicious, the place itself is very cozy. The draft beers on the other hand were not cold enough and the IPA I got didn't feel like an IPA.

Amazing experience here, I ate a wonderful fish & chips with a local beer of course. It was awesome, one of the best I ate so far, highly recommend !Inside it's an cool pub, very traditionnal, lots of space, but a bit crowdy (just check if there's a game on tv before you go if you want to be more chill). Even tho it was one of my favorite place in Edinburgh, can't wait to visit again :)
