First time for food and the Wednesday pub quiz here and found it to be very tasty, I'd say the food here is of a higher quality than that of the Bailie Bar which is further along the street.Friendly bar staff!
The food was good. I had a beef dinner. The only thing that let it down was the gravy. I don't no what was in there but it spoilt it. The portions was big, but to big for me. I have a small appetite, but good for those who eat more. It was good value for money, but the gravy spoilt it. The price was £17:99

Superb. Can’t believe I’ve lived here for so long and only just been. Went with friends for Sunday lunch and all roasts and pies were phenomenal. Great big portions, generous with all components of the roast. I had the special pheasant balmoral which was amazing and the gravy was top tier. Chips, yorkshires and roasties were all top class. So glad to have found this place. Proper good pub grub off the beaten track.
