Visited ‘The Orchard’ for lunch with my wife and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We pre-booked a table via their app which was easy to navigate and hassle free. On arrival the place wasn’t busy and we were immediately escorted to our table by the window. Incidentally, I recommend window tables if available as watching passers-by can be a nice distraction if you are dining alone. The staff were friendly and attentive. Restaurant bar away from tourist places. Interesting choice including Scottish meat. Extensive wine list. Friendly service like everywhere in Scotland. Price in relation to the quality of the products.

Very friendly pub located in a residential area. We were lucky to get a seat because it was packed. The food is a little more refined than in a classic pub but the dishes are not very expensive. We were very well served.
