Live music with a great singer, very friendly staff, and delicious Irish coffee... packed with good whiskey variety. We did not order food, tho. I couldn't tell you anything about food quality.
The burgers are delicious ?I rated 4 stars to the food while my husband was not really happy with his steak. He said it had a strange taste, like probably the meat was not really fresh.The service was super friendly. We even ordered some Margaritas that were not on the menu but they were willing to prepare them though. Nice place to start the journey! ??

We went to Piper's Rest for a casual meal and the food did not disappoint! We had the haggis lollipop, the beef burger with haggis and the deep fried Mars bar for dessert. The staff were very nice and attentive. We went for an early dinner so we didn't stay late enough to experience more of a pub atmosphere or any live music, but we would certainly come back and recommend this place to friends visiting Edinburgh! :)
