29 High St, FortroseVery kind and helpful staff. I popped in with my baby boy on a Monday afternoon. It was only place open in town where I could get hot water to heat the milk for his bottle.

Union St, FortroseEverything about The Anderson is great. First, it is nestled in the hauntingly beautiful and serene Black Isle in the Scottish Highlands. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the food and drink are fantastic and the proprietor is delightful, creative and brings new meaning to funny and charmingly quirky. Can’t recommend this place enough!

11 Marine Terrace, Rosemarkie, FortroseWe often pop in here for tea and a scone or a lunch - lovely location, tasty food, always a good choice at lunch time.Nice service - they work really hard here!\nIt's always busy so we tend to book for lunch in summer. It's an attractive place inside too with local paintings on the walls.\nThey are very welcoming re young children too.

The New McGinty's Takeaway
38 High St, FortroseOur Fish and Chips were some of the very best I've ever had, the fish was crisp and crunchy, perfectly cooked, the chips were just on another level, the had a delightful crunch to them. They even had brown sauce to put on them!
