Visited last year in August and it was amazing. We were climbing Fiona Bheinn, Achnasheen and made the 1hr 50min trip on the off chance we would catch it open. Arrived at 1635 and they still made us the platter (£50 worth to try everything when you live so far away!). The oysters wereAbsolutely amazing, worth the trip. We only went to Skye for the oyster shed on this occasion and we are so glad we did!
A must try if you are visiting Skye. We went there on a windy day and we ordered some hot dishes on top of the oysters. We are so in love with the scallops and crab claws as they are very tasty. We also bought a pack of smoked Scottish salmon for breakfast and it was very nice as well. Highly recommended.

The guy shucking the oysters was very friendly and a grafter. Visited on a winter weekday so can only imagine the carnage on season. Nonetheless, amazing seafood. Best food I had in the week doing the NC500. Oysters very tasty. Prices were great. Highly rate.
