Brought in Hogmanay here with family and the kids - have to say a fantastic night. Buffet was great, drinks were great, staff couldn’t do enough for you and the DJ was also top notch. Hope they do this again as was a great family night out and value for money. Would like to say a big thank you to all the staff and organisers as without you it would be impossible. Best Hogmanay in a long time! Xx

❤️BEST PIZZA IN FIFE❤️

Absolutely incredible. This is 100% authentic Italian pizza. The Picante and Vegitariana Bianca were perfect. We really enjoyed the garlic and cheese pizza too and the fresh homemade Tiramisu was superb. The crust and base are the best tasting I’ve come across in 30+ years in the UK. It’s the only place I’ve found that I want to eat every last bite of crust. Never hard or burnt, simple but perfect. Well done to everyone at Pizza Vara. Staff are very pleasant and attentive on every visit. This is an absolute gem and well worth the drive if coming from further away like ourselves. Every time we order the food is so consistent there’s no need to go elsewhere (even for a change), so glad we found this place. ❤️?

Thought I’d update this after over a year of amazing pizza served by PV!! We tend to order on average once a week but we’ve never been disappointed. Our 4 year old always asks for her Pizza Vara as it’s her absolute favourite and has tried everywhere.

Another year and it’s worth mentioning again that Pizza Vara is the very best pizzeria in Fife, it’s not even close! 10/10.

Easily the best cafe in Kirkcaldy. Visited twice in the last week (both Saturdays) and was able to easily grab a table on both occasions. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. The cafe is small but very cosy (it is quite warm in there mind you).

Ordered a latte with oat milk (not available the first Saturday visit - staff apologetic) which was great and ordered an iced latte with oat milk today which was delicious. Being from New Zealand and coffee snobs, the coffee served here lives up to our usual high standards and we were told the coffee is locally sourced from a supplier nearby which is a nice touch.

As for the food, top notch. Ordered the Belgian Waffle last week and the Italian open sandwich today, both were delicious and highly recommend both dishes.

Will absolutely be back.

Stayed here for work was only one night. Got here at about 6:30/7 and the staff were very polite. Room was nice spacious and clean.

Location is ideal, if the restaurant is closed have alot of takeaways within walking distance and local pubs aswell as the hotel bar.

Only negatives, were the restaurant was closing at the time I arrived. Other one is something the hotel can't help and that is hearing the traffic right on the roundabout outside. But other than this absolutely spot on, would happily stay again

Bhajkora?\n\nI popped in on a Friday so a business lunch. Great deal. I chose veg pakora and chicken tikka. The pakora was good but heavily bhaji influenced in size and content. Not bad but a surprise it wasn’t more pakoraish. Pint of cobra was refreshing and cold. Fantastic. The starter had a green sauce and a brown sauce. Latter tasted a lot like tamarind which I like. Green sauce a bit more subtle. Coriander in there. Not bad. My favourite part of the starter was that it was piping hot and so took a bit of time to eat. A good thing. Fellow diners at other tables were at least ten or more years older than me. Good on them. A nice local value for money lunch. Decent but not dazzling. Nothing wrong with that. Main was chicken tikka with rice or nan. I chose both so added to meal. Overdid it a bit. Too much food. My bad. All decent though. No complaints and you get a bit more than you pay for. So great stuff overall. I’d recommend for a lunch that is decent but won’t blow the bank or your socks off.

We had the most wonderful meal at this restaurant, that I asked if it was possible to cook monk fish for us the following evening. Amazed as soon as we walked through the door we were advised the monk fish was available. The Proprietor Chef ask how we wanted it. We declined that offer and left it to his experience. The most delightful meal arrived on skewers with lemon sauce. In the area you must go.\nBig Thank you to you all a wonderful evening

Dined with friends 01/11/2025. We weee a party of 4, went for the 3 course meal for £19, lovely starters mans and desserts, although they didn’t have any cheesecake available so I had cream and berries which was very good I even asked onya where the ice cream was from. We’ve been coming for years and the new chef is equally as good as the previous one. Nice buzz about the place although there has been times I’ve been and it has been quiet so I was thrilled my friends from the city got to enjoy the full cafe experience. 10/10

We usually stop here at least once every time we are in Scotland and pick up a preorder as well as breakfast, made up sandwiches for lunch on the way south, and often other things that we’ve not preordered but took our fancy. Very high quality food, excellent and very friendly service, and the atmosphere generated by other customers welcoming, soothing, inspiring. Always regret leaving and look forward to returning to my birthplace.

Had to write a review of our recent visit to the prince in kirkcaldy .Went for lunch and it was quite simply outstanding ! \nI opted for a sweet chicken poori to start with( which is included in the lunchtime menu which i was surprised to find)! It was delicious ? and HUUUGE! it actually overlapped my plate ! the chicken in a sweet sauce was delicious and so was the melt in the mouth pastry.\nMy wife went for the chicken chaat; she was obviously enjoying her starter; as I didn't get offered one !\nFor our main , we both went for the sizzling chicken tikka , the smell as it came out the kitchen was amazing ! The sizzling platter was mixed with both white and red onions ; with a really generous portion of chicken tikka for 2.\nAlso included was beautiful multi coloured rice, aromatic and even tasty on its own , 2 portions of delicious curry sauce, and a delicious plain nann, what a feast!! - and i have the pictures to prove it!\nWe both cannot recommend this Indian restaurant highly enough , I don't usually do reviews ; but this restaurant totally deserves any plaudits coming its way, 2 coffees to finish ; and great value for a lunchtime feast, even was told the coriander in the meal , was home grown by the chef! Nearly 6pm just now , and were both still full! Cannot recommend this friendly , family run Indian restaurant, and we both cant wait to go back 10/10 if i could , id give more !!

Stopped off to buy some meat from the shop and decided to stop for lunch in the cafe and we are so pleased we did. We was warmly greeted by one of the ladies who showed us to a table and asked if we was wanting breakfast or lunch as it was just before 12. We opted for lunch and went for a buffalo burger and fries which was absolutely delicious. We then followed this with the coffee tower. Fab food and service. 5*

Phoned for a ABC takeaway, on a Saturday night,there number was engaged for a while but as I had their food once before I patiently waited for an answer,they explained that that they were busy and delivery would be about an hour and half,they were spot on with there time schedule and there food arrived still pipping hot, their portion was large and very adequate but most importantly of all it was the tastiest beef chow mein I have ever had, I couldn't fault it one bit,I knew it was going to taste delicious as the first time i went into ABC takeaway a while ago I was standing waiting for my order in there shop, it was quiet arround 6.30pm when I went in but when I turned around after I ordered it was full of customers and that showed me that this was going to be a very good Chinese takeaway and I haven't been disappointed,I would definitely use this takeaway again and again,can't wait to try their other delicious food,,
