As visitors for a very short time, I cannot thank this pub enough for how accommodating they were. A clean and well run pub with excellent service, an incredibly thorough approach to food allergies and such kindness in us being able to watch a football game on one of their many sports screens. A group of us had a fantastic meal on New Years day. All the food that was served to the table tasted great and came in large portions (some of us took doggy bags home). The Gurkha beer was a nice accomliment to the food. The servers were polite, prompt and well presented. The toilets were clean and tidy.

Passing through on a holiday and the service was awesome, the waiters were just genuinely kind people. It is always a joy to walk into a random restaurant after a night stroll and find such kind people and good food!

They have really nice vegetarian food and the paratha was really nice. I didn't order naan, but from what I saw they looked delicious. The prices were super reasonable too.

Thanks for dinner, if I am ever back in Scotland I would love to come back here.

First time trying today. Was a little disappointed with the antipasto Classico for the price I’d expect more!severe lack of cheese (2 small triangles of one kind) same with the lack of meats in it! The bruschetta and the homemade bread and pate was absolutely delicious. Although disappointed with that one thing it definitely wouldn’t put me off ordering again. Delivery was pretty fast too so that’s always a bonus.. maybe when I try again I can update with hopefully a 5 star review. *edit* just received my second delivery. pleased to say it's absolutely delicious. We've been ordering from Delhicious for a number of years and I cannot fault it at all. The delivery drivers are polite and prompt, the delivery time is fantastic, even at the weekend. Unfortunately I've seen myself waiting hours for food but this has thankfully never been the case with Delhicious, the food is so tasty and it always arrives piping hot, very big portions (they can spread over about 2/3 nights) with reasonable prices, plenty of variety and they've never gotten an order wrong. Definitely one of the best ?

Haven't been in the gondola for a few years and thought we would give it a go. And was pleasantly surprised. Atmosphere was great the restaurant was very busy which was a good sign straight away. The food was lovely you know when you get the veg with you food in some places its a bit soggy. But the veg was tasty and crisp which was lovely with my meal. Had a chicken dish which was moist and well seasoned. My wife the tagliatelle which looked amazing and she said it was so creamy and lovely. Will definitely be going back again ??

Absolutely incredible. This is 100% authentic Italian pizza. The Picante and Vegitariana Bianca were perfect. We really enjoyed the garlic and cheese pizza too and the fresh homemade Tiramisu was superb. The crust and base are the best tasting I’ve come across in 30+ years in the UK. It’s the only place I’ve found that I want to eat every last bite of crust. Never hard or burnt, simple but perfect. Well done to everyone at Pizza Vara. Staff are very pleasant and attentive on every visit. This is an absolute gem and well worth the drive if coming from further away like ourselves. Every time we order the food is so consistent there’s no need to go elsewhere (even for a change), so glad we found this place. ❤️?

Thought I’d update this after over a year of amazing pizza served by PV!! We tend to order on average once a week but we’ve never been disappointed. Our 4 year old always asks for her Pizza Vara as it’s her absolute favourite and has tried everywhere.

Another year and it’s worth mentioning again that Pizza Vara is the very best pizzeria in Fife, it’s not even close! 10/10.

Easily the best cafe in Kirkcaldy. Visited twice in the last week (both Saturdays) and was able to easily grab a table on both occasions. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. The cafe is small but very cosy (it is quite warm in there mind you).

Ordered a latte with oat milk (not available the first Saturday visit - staff apologetic) which was great and ordered an iced latte with oat milk today which was delicious. Being from New Zealand and coffee snobs, the coffee served here lives up to our usual high standards and we were told the coffee is locally sourced from a supplier nearby which is a nice touch.

As for the food, top notch. Ordered the Belgian Waffle last week and the Italian open sandwich today, both were delicious and highly recommend both dishes.

Will absolutely be back.

We came here for our first time out for lunch with our new born recently. We were naturally anxious and worried incase she decided to scream the place down. That being said, I must say the experience went extremely well.
Although this wasn’t implied or mentioned but I did personally feel like the staff quickly noticed we had a new born and soon after we sat down, our order was taken promptly and our food arrived without any excessive waiting. We really appreciated this as the cafe was still fairly busy and we felt like our situation was taken into consideration and to experience quick compassionate service like that made our first family lunch much more relaxing. I could look at this two ways, they could have seen a newborn and thought to themselves.. let’s them get in and out as quickly as possible incase the baby cries and annoys everyone else, but I’m choosing to see it in a much more positive light! It certainly felt like we were personally looked after and we thank you for that.

We had two toasties and a cake each, which were very nice. Couldn’t fault our visit at all really, staff were very friendly too. We actually wanted two other different cakes to take home and the lady said that normally that would be charged at a slightly increased price due to it being a takeaway order but instead charged us a sit in price. Obviously some would expect that anyway as we still sat in for our lunch but it’s a nice gesture nonetheless.

Anyone wanting to visit with little ones, it’s a great cafe to visit. Can sit inside or outside also.

I’m in and out of hospital a lot so I go down to costa a lot for there delicious hot chocolate, and there toasties. Being disabled the staff are absolutely brilliant. They could be busy but still have time to make sure you get you order. But quite recently it’s gone down hill. It’s just the simple things like having no gas fit the cream so you can’t get a decent Frappecino or cream on your hot chocolate. But don’t let that spoil it for as it’s still the best costs I have visited. The staff are amazing and actually make time for. Today is cake for £1 today so i could be down a few times today!

Stayed here for work was only one night. Got here at about 6:30/7 and the staff were very polite. Room was nice spacious and clean.

Location is ideal, if the restaurant is closed have alot of takeaways within walking distance and local pubs aswell as the hotel bar.

Only negatives, were the restaurant was closing at the time I arrived. Other one is something the hotel can't help and that is hearing the traffic right on the roundabout outside. But other than this absolutely spot on, would happily stay again

Afternoon tea was delicious, plentiful and the scones were scrumptious. Staff were really nice nothing was too much bother for them. Plenty tea coffee and alcohol if you wanted.We had the small back room to ourselves which was lovely will definitely be back well done all staff.???

Phoned for a ABC takeaway, on a Saturday night,there number was engaged for a while but as I had their food once before I patiently waited for an answer,they explained that that they were busy and delivery would be about an hour and half,they were spot on with there time schedule and there food arrived still pipping hot, their portion was large and very adequate but most importantly of all it was the tastiest beef chow mein I have ever had, I couldn't fault it one bit,I knew it was going to taste delicious as the first time i went into ABC takeaway a while ago I was standing waiting for my order in there shop, it was quiet arround 6.30pm when I went in but when I turned around after I ordered it was full of customers and that showed me that this was going to be a very good Chinese takeaway and I haven't been disappointed,I would definitely use this takeaway again and again,can't wait to try their other delicious food,,

Stopped off to buy some meat from the shop and decided to stop for lunch in the cafe and we are so pleased we did. We was warmly greeted by one of the ladies who showed us to a table and asked if we was wanting breakfast or lunch as it was just before 12. We opted for lunch and went for a buffalo burger and fries which was absolutely delicious. We then followed this with the coffee tower. Fab food and service. 5*
