A836, LairgDefinitely worth driving there. It was busy (for the time of year) and it was exactly lunch time. We had not made a reservation, but we were given a table with our 3-year-old daughter. After ordering, we were asked by the waiter if we would like a vacant table by the window, yes please!! We had a really delicious meal and enjoyed the sun. Service was busy but very friendly. Highly recommended, thank you!

Invercassley Tea Rooms
Rosehall,Lairg,Sutherland,IV27 4BD, RosehallEnjoyed a much needed lunch here during a bike ride around Strath Oykel. Thank goodness it was open as there's precious few places that are, it seems (for mid October). We had cheese & veg nachos and haggis & cheese nachos which were delicious and just the fuel we needed. Good coffee too. Cosy with the fire on.

The Elphin Tearooms
The Elphin Tearooms, Elphin, LairgWe driven past this tea room over the years, until today when we decided it was the place to go, anywhere else was extra.Good value, just baked scones, that pleased my wife, excellent home made plum jam, toasted sandwiches were a treat, people talking who've never met, the Highlands brings the best in people out.Very clean toilet's.The pictures are views from the car park.

Wayfarers' Bar
Lochinver, LairgReally recommend the Wayfarers’ Bar. Great friendly service and conversation with different staff and customers. We sat in the lounge with our baby because of their licensing restrictions (no under 18s) but people came to chat to us and we in no way were made to feel unwelcome. Our son took his first step here! We’ll definitely be back when next in Lochinver.
