Lovely hotel in a delightful building with large patio garden at front of it. Clean and spacious rooms. Good evening meal at reasonable price. The only downside was the offering at breakfast. Only two offerings of porridge were available and that was at about 8.15 am, disappointing especially as we were in Scotland. Room 2 completely refurbished with brand new furniture, carpet, curtains etc in very stylish oranges and light sage green checked tweed. Shame they didn't replace the sagging mattress, but otherwise very good for the price. Modern new bathroom with good shower. Sockets in all the right places. Dinner good and service very friendly and efficient. Short but very fairly priced wine list, most under £20.
