great efficient service, bill managed to seat us into a window table with a gorgeous view over the Moray firth.

The food is pretty good if a little bit pricey but I don't mind paying a bit more for better quality food. Definitely the best Indian restaurant in the area.

I had a good experience at the Chaplin restaurant in Scotland. The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff were attentive and friendly. Well just had the most awful experience waited 45 mins when I asked what was the problem was got told he had lots of orders asked what happens to walk ins was told you are prioritised he said everything cooked fresh I was them only.person by the point in shop the man infront of me asked for he's money back as couldn't wait any longer was told could not get it back the man walked out. When I said you shouldn't speak to customers like that he was so rude said he couldn't careless. What a way to speak to people . If you told me it was going to take so long I wouldn't of ordered. You will have no business left treating folk it that manner. Rude argumentative dismissive infact hope you fail.

Most obnoxious horrible LITTLE MAN should not be serving customers. Should tell them it will be nearer an hour till foid ready before taking money then refusing to give it back when people can wait no longer. Poor advert for tourism in Nairn. Found out the locals give this place a wide berth and go to Salt and Vinegar. Horrible and rude. Wait almost an hour then gives me the fish sitting on hot plate since I came in. Crap

We had an okay experience here. The customer service was nice and the food was also properly cooked. However, the floors were not clean, and there were fries under our table. I can understand that things happen during busy times, but the shop was not at all crowded, and it would have been nice if the floors had been properly cleaned. One of the crew members cleaned our table when we were there.

I just stumbled upon this place by chance whilst on a wee visit to Nairn.
This has been certainly one the best Indian meals that I have had in Scotland ( and trust me I have had a few!!)
The dishes were pefectly customised to be spicy for me and non-spicy for the ones for my kids.
Loved the biryani as it came with a custom sauce which was more than a tomato matter curry that we usually cook.
The gentleman serving us also was very pleasant to talk to and gave good suggestions. Defo recommend and will surely visit again !!

lucky house Chinese takeaway

In August, I visited Nairn for a holiday and stayed in Fishertown. During my visit, I ordered a meal from Lucky House, and I can sincerely state that the Beef Curry was the finest I have ever had. I highly recommend trying Lucky House if you are in the vicinity.

I really enjoyed the food from this establishment! We ordered three kebabs and there was more than enough kebab meat for a decent meal. The sauces and vegetables were also ample and came in separate boxes. To cap it all the large portion of chips was well sized and the chips were cooked and tasted great!!
