Massive thank you to Jo, Matt, Benjy, chloe and Daniel, we received first class food, service and outstanding welcoming hospitality. Appreciated you finding us a table, repeatedly, and Benjy creating and cooking amazing quality steaks, mixed platter and burgers. 49A Kirk Prts, North BerwickA must for any coffee lover visiting North Berwick. Friendly staff, they sell their own merch which I thought was very well priced, very refreshing compared to other places I’ve visited offering gifts and merch. Patient staff allowed my 5 year old to order my coffee for me, he was very pleased.

You are greeted at the door like a long lost friend.
The service was very good and friendly, plenty of genuine smiles.
It's a small menu which changes every couple of weeks. All cooked to order.
The fish of the day Rock Bass was excellent.
This is a small restaurant with about 30 covers and you definitely need to book quite a long way in advance.
A most enjoyable evening and one we will try to repeat.

Food was delicious pub grub with friendly staff and patrons who all made a fuss of our dog which made his day!

The Harbour, Harbour Terrace, North BerwickWe did one of the boat tours - 1 hour around two islands- and it was fun. My 3 kids liked it.

This place did not disappoint.
I am gluten free, and the gluten free options are top of the game, and the food itself was amazing. So delicious, even gave me happy bum wiggles:)

Archerfield Walled Garden Archerfield Estate, DirletonWhat a joyous place to visit. From the Fairy trail to the Willow walk. The cafe is an edible delight awaiting discovery. The shop and garden centre simply divine. Visited last year when in Scotland and didn't disappoint on a 2nd visit.

We ordered 2 fish and chips which were very freshly cooked, crispy batter and tasty chips. The staff were chatty while we waited. Don't serve beans which my son had fancied, he had curry sauce (maniac) which was tasty, the peas were fine but could have been a little hotter, not a big issue. All in all very nice, enjoyed at the seafront listening to the waves

18 Cromwell Rd, North BerwickLovely hotel to stay at the Marine. Lovely staff. Huge car park if you are driving. Great breakfast. We were in North Berwick for a wedding so not much time for anything else.
Lovely views across the Fort.
Only thing negative was the bathroom was quite small but then you don't go for the bathroom !!

Marine, 18 Cromwell Rd, North BerwickI came for a weekend stay in Scotland and was rather surprised to find out this is an Italian restaurant. (The menu online was different) I was looking forward to some Scottish dishes.
The food was great though. I had a seafood spaghetti, and the seafood were juicy and fresh.
There was a bit of mixup with the order and the sparking water we ordered never arrived (we had to ask for it to be taken off the bill). Other than that I’d say it was a good meal.

1 Quality St, North BerwickMy wife and daughter went here while we were staying at North Berwick for a few days. I'm lactose intolerant so can't eat ice cream, however the staff said they make a dairy free sorbet and I could try that. I chose lemon and raspberry. Without a doubt the best sorbet I've ever tasted. The lemon was sharp and the raspberry sweet. Absolutely fantastic and full of flavour. Well worth a visit if you are ever in North Berwick.

The Sugar Mountain
86 High St, North BerwickIf you have a sweet tooth this is the shop for you. There is a huge selection in this shop you are best to try and take your time. I like bonbons, spearmint, liquorice etc. I was later in the day so the shop was quieter. As with all these shops there was some local tablet. I enjoyed my visit and I bought a few sweets to take away.

There's been a new boost of staffing here recently and service has greatly improved.
No longer on the way to work are we experiencing delayed opening times or not opening at all due to staffing.
Staff all seem happy and friendly too.
Fresh food and a clean environment.

Merryhatton Garden Centre
11 Holding, North BerwickWent for breakfast this morning and had an excellent meal, with probably the best made Mocha I’ve ever drunk. The food is always well prepared and served by a group of young and cheerful friendly people. The real reason for going today though was to see the transformation of the Garden Shop for Christmas . We visit a lot of garden centres in the Lothian Area as we are keen gardeners. The displays are truly stunning, set out on large tables, according to colour and themes. So many really well chosen items, and not the usual cheap and tacky Christmas tat. Head and shoulder above the Dobbies and other chain garden centres. They also keep a huge selection of well chosen greeting cards for all occasions. Plant area is lovely, seasonal and colourful. Look out for the hand made Christmas wreaths which should be starting to be hand made any day soon.
