Lovely little cafe and great gift shop. The food was wonderful, all fresh and tasty, especially the apple pie! The lady running the gift shop was super friendly and helpful, she also gave us some recommendations for a walk round the area and some great candles to buy from the shop. Absolutely great find on our recent trip to Scotland.Great choice of food and drinks with a stunning view from the cafe. We chose to go for breakfast and enjoyed the warmth of the cafe whilst escaping the minus temperatures outside.The road/path to the castle is currently closed, so we were unable to check that out. We had a lovely time dining and shopping at this place! Staff was super friendly and helpful, dogs are welcome and the food was delicious (especially the goat cheese salad!).You can even take the dog for a nice short walk! Highly recommended!
