A lovely dinning experience. It’s cozy, friendly, great view and the food is delicious and beautifully presented. Service is top notch. The fish chowder was outstanding! Portions are ample. Wish we could have returned for another night. Do get a reservation.
You will need to book as it gets very busy. Starters were quite expensive and price in my view at higher end. Staff were friendly and helpful and checked in during meal until it got busy. Good views of harbour. Has Cullen Skink and my partner Scallops which were very nice and well presented. Main course seafood pasta and a risotto which again well presented. Four stars for service is solely a reflection of their limited staffing, a global problem, so take with a grain of salt. Very limited menu but everything on it was excellent. We stayed three days so sampled most of it. Fish and chips is a standout in a country famed for the dish. Peter is old-school waitstaff. Made us feel like Scottish nobility.
