This is an excellent little cafe. The ice cream and coffee are very good, and the owners and staff are really friendly and helpful. Customer service is first class. There's a nice atmosphere, and although the cafe is often busy, the staff take the time to make you feel welcome a they thank you for your visit.
We went in for two coffee’s and decided to sit in. Coffee was great, but it was also a pleasure to watch the team deliver phenomenal customer service, taking the time to listen to every customer not rushing anyone. Had a great conversation with gentleman behind the counter who offered some sound advice on places to go in Edinburgh for food. All staff very friendly and helpful, I also enjoyed a strawberry ice cream to go, which was one of the best I have had. Well worth a visit.

This wee place is an absolute gem. Very welcoming with a friendly, chatty owner. We had their soup, cake and hot drink deal for £9.95 each. Great value. Hot homemade lentil soup with lovely fresh bread (they have vegan options on menu) and plenty butter. The homemade cakes - wow, we had a generous piece of victoria sponge and a dulce de lecce pastry. Highly recommend.
