We visited The Bothy last month as a group of 21 people, mostly students. Had made a reservation well in advance. They'd set a whole top floor aside for us, tables and everything well arranged before we got there.We were served by Chris that night; she and the folks with her looked after the needs of the group really well. Absolutely beautiful food. An amazing find after not being able to get in at our first choice. We had been in the area visiting relatives and called for food before heading back across Scotland. Absolutely recommend The Bothy. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the food was amazing, thank you so much.

It is a new restaurant just opened a few months ago. It is very charming. The gas flames outside are very inviting on a cold night. Inside is warm and accepting. The food is good. The humus starter is very tasty and Sonia the duck pate. The food was very good. And the poached pear for dessert was exceptional. The staff are very friendly and attentive.
