The Coffee Bar At Hayshed Gallery
Carry Farm, TighnabruaichDropped in for a coffee and shared a cake. 3 coffees and a cake just under £13 which felt fairly standard. Tasty coffee and a nice cinnamon bun. Sun was shining so sitting outside was lovely. Nice wee corner if you are walking, cycling or driving round Ardlamont.

Kilfinan Hotel
Kilfinan Hotel, Kilfinan, TighnabruaichI had an impromptu stay at the Kilfinan Hotel recently due to my ferry being cancelled.
I received such a warm welcome from the owners who I understand have recently taken on the Hotel.
My room was number 5(&6), which was a suite and what a treat. A lovely sitting area, a generous bathroom and massive bed, which was also very comfy. A lovely view over what I'm told is Kilfinan Bay and out to Loch Fyne.
I found my way downstairs and sampled a couple of Newbarns beers. A new one to me but very tasty. Was lucky enough to get a pizza for my dinner in the bar area, by a toasty log burner.
Best of the luck to the new owners, from my brief visit I think they'll do exceptionally well!

Five West
Royal Buildings, TighnabruaichI used Five West catering for a yoga retreat I was hosting in town and they could not have done a better job. They were so easy to work with and prompt in communicating. The entire staff were so kind, fun, and professional. The food was absolutely incredible every single day. Everyone looked forward to seeing them in the kitchen and trying every dish they made. I will definitely be using them for my next retreat in Scotland.

Seaside, TighnabruaichWow! We’re staying nearby for the week and popped in today for some cake to take away because I had promised my son. I’m so pleased we did, the lemon meringue was incredible!!

The Oystercatcher
3 Otter Ferry Salmon, Otter Ferry, TighnabruaichReally good little spot! Staff very friendly, Located hidden away in a stunning spot, Food was really good however one of our parties soup was on the colder side and the drink prices a tiny bit steep. But overall recommend especially if you’re in the area! The bucket of muscles was amazing, plenty to go around.
