Lovely position overlooking the river. Service was efficient without being intrusive and complimentary water (still and sparkling) was offered immediately. Food came in generous portions, was very tasty and beautifully presented. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
Just had a lovely mini-break at the Charlton Arms - lovely room with a balcony over the river (shame the weather meant we could not make the most of it). Room was clean, tidy, well appointed and very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely with a good range of tasty, quality food. We had one evening meal at the hotel that was very tasty - good food without being fussy/ over complicated. Loved our stay , great place, excellent location, friendly staff ,great room , just would have liked a sitting stool but well furnished, comfy clean bed and good TV, great cofffee machine and clear instructions too. Thank you for a great stay , we will happily stay again.Rooms: Good size , great modern decor, great coffee machine and nice quality toiletries
