We are on our way to North Wales from South Wales and wanted to stop in a nice country pub for lunch on the way. We couldn't find anywhere on the way and all we could think about was a ploughman's lunch. We passed this little pub and as soon as we seen it we turned around and went in hoping they had a table. Called on a trip home on spec. Got us a table although we hadn't booked. Food was great, staff and service was fantastic and lovely atmosphere.Food & drinks: Plenty of options.

We didn't stay as we were at the Travelodge across the road, however we had an evening meal and two breakfasts here, all excellent. Great menu with locally sourced foods. Only the desserts were a let down.
