My personal favorite pub in Oswestry. No food but friendly people and staff, always clean and tidy, pool table, always show most sporting events...if it's not already on just ask.By the way it's also the cheapest pub in town, you might be shocked in a good way. ?Parking: Free evening parking Two minutes up the road on Bailyhead and the market car park. Went there last night (on Sunday) whilst waiting for my taxi as it was open the latest. Drinks were cheap, very friendly environment with a great smoking area. Barman was a very cool character, great staff. If I lived in Oswestry this would be my local.

Great little pub with friendly staff and a well maintained cellar. Has a regulation-size pool table and great drinks prices.. Free pool on a Tuesday, Bingo on a Wednesday, alternate open mic or ladies pool on a Thursday, what more could you ask for? Was greeted well and welcomed by the two staff members behind the generously sized bar and was not left wanting.If you're new to the area, the butchers is a must-visit pub.
