Overall a lovely place to eat. The good was fantastic, fresh and tasted lovely. So I have given the service a 4 ? sadly.......The girls who were working when we arrived were brilliant, attentive and had a smile on there faces all the way through the service. What let them down was they didn't have enough staff who were knowledgeable on the menu, the bar and generally what was going on. I had a two night stay here over this weekend and had a very pleasant stay. Really friendly staff welcomed me and showed me to my room which was really clean and organised nicely with all I needed. 7 of us then met up for a meal on the Friday night and the fish and chips were spot on!Easy relaxed stay in a really pretty little village and nice friendly warm old school pub atmosphere!

My husband and I stayed at Ye Olde Boote for 5 nights earlier in August for our tenth wedding anniversary. The welcome was warm and friendly, and in addition to breakfast each morning, we dined at the inn for four of the five evenings we were there.
