First time visiting, walked in and no one to be seen other then chef Stuart who said sit where ever you would like and I will grab you a menu. He was very helpful. We then managed to get drinks 10 minutes later and order some food, which I will say was absolutely amazing 15/10. Burgers was amazing!!! Mac/cheese was very delicious. Will definitely visit again. Bar staff needed to be around to meet and greet and take your drinks order after sitting down. Chef was amazing!!
Great food, good variety on the menu. Service was faultless. Thank you. 13 family members visited, many different dishes ordered and empty plates all round. Sorry didn’t take photos as too busy enjoying the food. I had fish & chips was delicious. Chocolate & orange tart wow this was amazing. Lovely small country pub, be careful roads to it are dark & single track but defo worth a visit. Highly recommend, In fact already booked to visit over Christmas.

We visited on a weekday in the evening. There was 11 of us in total a mixture of children and adults reason for visit was to celebrate a birthday. We pre ordered food ahead of the visit. On arrival The staff were really welcoming and we were seated straight away. Our food was served timely, they were good sized portions and were delicious. The service was really excellent, we had a wonderful evening. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be returning .
