Reviews for Drapers Hall

Lovely friendly staff, great food and a roaring log fire to greet us. A two minute walk into town to experience a variety of independent shops to suit all tastes.Comfortable bed, a lovely light room and room to sit and read. The extraordinary dining room is something to behold, you almost expect to see Nearly Headless Nick float by.We look forward to returning.

Enjoyed lovely Sunday lunch. Food fantastic, as was atmosphere and service. Spoilt only by a yapping dog - perhaps the place should review their policy of allowing dogs into the bar area. One of them emitted a regular high pitched “yap” which made everyone jump!Apart from that, everything was wonderful. Food perfectly cooked. Would definitely return.

Stunning medieval hall to stop for lunch to celebrate our friends' 60th Birthday?. Made to feel very welcome in the warm, atmospheric setting full of history and charm; lovely, attentive staff. The service was wonderful and the food plentiful, presented beautifully, and absolutely delicious at a ridiculous price for the quality. Wish we all had a Rhubab at Drapers. Thankyou for the candles ??
