Went for a walk around Earls Hill and after getting thoroughly drenched decided a Sunday lunch was needed. On recommendation we opted to try this place out. Definitely a good choice! Luckily we slipped in just before the end of lunch service and had three very hearty roast dinners at a very reasonable cost. Staff were lovely and some really big characters. 12 of us arrived at lunchtime on a Saturday without prior notice and we were all served promptly, it was nice weather and we had 4 dogs so we sat in the wonderful beer garden. We all ordered food and as all 12 of us were eating we were very pleased with the speed at which it was served (considering we were told that 1 person was working in the kitchen). What a great local community run pub. I wish more establishments were run run like this. Sunday Lunch was awesome and the Staff are so attentive. 2 minutes from he doorstep, what more could you ask for?!? Very welcoming ?
