Old Hand & Diamond, ShrewsburyDelicious food, great service and reasonable price. We had steak pie and lasagne, both with handcut chips. The pie was packed with meat and the best we've had in a restaurant. Three lasagne was delicious too. We'll definitely be back, hopefully for the game pie that we've heard is rather special.

Halfway Diner
A458, Halfway House, ShrewsburyWent there the other day for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. Me and my pregnant partner stopped off on the way to our new house and both had large Cod and chips. £11.99 each and the food was delicious. For what is basically a transport cafe, the fish and chips were better than most of the chip shops we've been to. Everything was piping hot, the chips were really good and the batter on the fish was absolutely beautiful. Was really shocked at how good it was. Will definitely be visiting again now we don't live far away ?
