Cannot recommend this pub enough! My husband and I visited Saturday evening with our 3 year old for dinner on a last minute weekend away. Despite the fact a huge party was taking place in the function area, which would have understandably taken up a lot of the staffs time, the service was excellent. Warm, friendly and helpful. Food sublime. The Star staff went out of their way to provide a exceptional vegan option for us. We had empty plates, full stomach's and smiles all round. We tipped well because our waiter could not be more genuine and appropriately engaging. If you like great food, you will find out on your visit. ENJOY?

We visited here again for an early evening dinner and what can I say, absolutely lovely smart clean premises. Very good atmosphere and very friendly and polite and welcoming staff. The choice of meals are excellent and well priced. All of the food is absolutely delicious and first class. Well worth a visit and I would definitely recommend The Star ?.
