I’ve been here twice since new owners. And both times been disappointed with the food. £9 for a plain tuna ciabatta spread with MARGARINE not butter, just wrong in my opinion. I think it could also come with a garnish just to make up paying £9. I had the sausage and mash. We’ll just the sausage as the mash was also lathered in margarine so that was all you could taste. We visited the lock inn a couple of Saturdays ago with our grandson, we were greeted at the door by a friendly Team, we ordered our food & drinks promptly & our drinks came almost straight away, we didn’t wait long for our food either! The food was great & we ate it all. The staff are a credit to the place, they were so polite & helpful! It’s like they’d actually been taught about service! A quick stop off and look around this quaint little town. Decided to stay for a spot of lunch, what an amazing place. Being a vegetarian I don’t normally get much choice but here they really cater for everyone. Staff were polite and friendly and portions were large my wife and I both struggled to eat it all, but we did manage it. Excellent Value.
