They really know their stuff and can cook !
We had breakfast and a salad dish to try out all varieties. Both options were fantastic, the tomato feta salad, beetroot salads and potato salads were perfect, chicken was grilled very nicely.

Lovely decoration, lots of interesting things to look at, clean and tidy bathroom and gift shop area. They don't have paper towel but hand towel to dry your hands which I think is great.

The courgette cake was a bit on the heavy side but nice favour.

Only downside - they are too popular and very busy !

The Bell

Great little place , very friendly staff . We popped in on the way back from racing around castle Combes race track . The staff were very accommodating , plenty of free parking . Food was delicious . Toilets were spotless . We had starters , mains , desserts & a drink each . It came to £75 and we tipped £5 so £80 . Not bad at all for the service & quality of food you get .

Hadn't been for a while and not in the summer season and all l can say is what a slick professional operation it has become. Enjoyed a lovely lunch with a friend. It may seem a weird thing to say but it was almost like the old days. You could have what was considered a pub snack and at a decent price. You could spend more if you wanted but didn't have to. The coffee was piping hot and stayed so long into the meal. Thank you. I am so fed up with luke warm expensive coffee that is cold before you finish. The staff were quick and efficient but didn't look harassed and they were beautifully turned out. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable. People just do their own thing.
I stocked up on West Country treats for Scotland.Excellent selection from the farm shop.
Have had the fish and chips before and they are excellent. Also good to see that the children can enjoy an exciting picnic if they would prefer.

White Row Fish & Chips

One of our favourites to top up the weekly food shop and until recently, have Friday Fish and Chips. Unfortunately the recent price increases (supposedly due the price of fish specifically) means we will take our custom elsewhere. £21.60 for cod and chips is daylight robbery (esp when you breakdown labour, materials and prep costs).
