The Bell

Visted to try the Bell at Standerwick after a friend had mentioned it to my sister, but wasn't sure what it would be like as under new management.

The pub exceeded all expectations. We walked in to lovely decor and 3 friendly smiles greeting us as we came in. (I wished I'd taken their names)

The pub is spacious and allows dogs on leads, which was an instant plus in our book!

The food was lovely and we left happy and full. What I liked is the menu wasn't massive, but still a great selection and done well.

Mes Amis Cafe Deli

Lovely cute cafe with great ambiance where the staff are so friendly and nice and the food is amazing! I had breakfast in and the pastries and salad which are available for take away as well looked so I good I took some as lunch to go. Bonus is it's dog friendly, I think this will be my new favourite local !

White Row Farm Cafe

Visited mid week for lunch. So glad I ignored the few negative reviews on here and gave it a go.
The cafe staff were welcoming and friendly. I had the tuna ciabatta and my son had a mushroom omelette that he said was delicious. The portions were large, the food fresh and tasty.
The cafe is adjoining a great farm shop and there’s plenty of indoor and outdoor space.
I will certainly be back if I’m in the area in future.

White Row Fish & Chips

One of our favourites to top up the weekly food shop and until recently, have Friday Fish and Chips. Unfortunately the recent price increases (supposedly due the price of fish specifically) means we will take our custom elsewhere. £21.60 for cod and chips is daylight robbery (esp when you breakdown labour, materials and prep costs).
