Fosse Way, Dinnington, Hinton Saint GeorgeOur car had broken down, and we were waiting for recovery at the pub today. The staff were all extremely amazing, friendly and really helpful. The food was great. You can't imagine without the pub how we can cope with our car accident. We are so lucky to be here! Many thanks The Dinnington Docks!

Their own bread was one of the best sour doughs I’ve eaten . Sunday lunch lamb was so super slow cooked and tender in a rich and salty gravy. Starters were great. Something that has carried on from their original restaurant in Brixton market (Salon)

The Railway Carriage, South PethertonI’m so happy we stopped here! One of the nicest lunches we’ve had in a long time and the best roadside stop we’ve made! Found it in The Extra Mile guide and it’s just a few minutes off the A303. We had a few small plates per person and it was plenty (pulled pork was awesome, cucumber dish was my fav, and fried chicken with hazelnut and red pepper romesco was also yummy!). Great cocktails and Vietnamese coffee. Really competent cheffing. Made with lots of love and plenty of chilli crisp!
Super cute railway cars have each been decorated in different themes and you can sit inside your own railway car. There’s also a double decker bus with tables on both levels and plenty of outdoor space, including a kids play area with car racing, mini double decker bus, and play kitchen. Highly suggest this stop in your next road trip!

18 St James's St, South PethertonStayed here for one night , Tuesday 3rd of February I didnt know what to expect as it was a pure random choice although the reviews i read about The Brewers Arms helped me decide
I am SO GLAD i picked this hotel , as they was simply amazing even cooked me something to eat after they stopped cooking as i was running late and by the way the Pizza and chips fantastic !
My room was so clean and fresh ,smelt amazing and i slept well ,breakfast the following morning was great
The Brewers Arms is brilliant ,so if you need somewhere to stop for the night then stop here and you will be pleased you did .
