Our visit at New Farm came about by by a series of unfortunate events which became a far more memorable date night for the right reasons. We'd heard about it from friends but it never registered when we were planning where to go. This time we did and managed to bag the last table with 3 hours notice. We come here for my Dads birthday each year and actually have been coming on and off since 2006, it’s always excellent and we all thoroughly enjoy our meals. The food is delicious and we all said how wonderful the soufflés were for starters and Dad said his chalk stream trout soup was very tasty. The mains were equally exquisite! What a gorgeous place to eat. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was very attentive. We all decided on the rack of lamb for mains and we weren’t’t disappointed. Served with dauphinoise potatoes and broccoli with a yummy sauce, served with a bottle of Italian Primitivo Red wine. A perfect combination. The only issue was that we didn’t have room for a pudding….next time. Thank you all.
