With its new management and head chef (Patrice Carroll), we'd heard rumblings about The Lamb & Flag so had to make a trip down for a Sunday roast. We had a hearty beef roast with the most incredible veggies and side of cauliflower cheese. The BEST roast I have had, period. Went with friends for my birthday, the food, service and atmosphere were all brilliant. Had the bangers and mash, and they were some of the best sausages I've ever had (everything was delicious so it's hard to pick a standout item). They were also very dog friendly. I will definitely be returning.
