I used Venue a couple times during the first lockdown for delivery and takeaway, always piping hot and delivered quickly. Since restrictions have been lifted I have eaten in on a number of occasions and the quality of food is great. Tony & Sylv do a cracking job, even through the tough times where they worked extremely hard to keep the place safe and maintain their high level of service. . Oh my god, I have never been to such a good pub in my life! I walked in there with a few friends after hearing about the FREE TABLE TENNIS and thought I'd check to see if this was true, and, lo and behold, IT WAS!! The friendly and attractive staff escorted us to the table, handed us the paddles and even a couple of bottles of water! Me and my friends worked up such a sweat! On Saturday 8th January my family and I ordered a take away delivery from Georgie's Plaice at the Venue. Lovely food, lovely quality and lovely portion sizes. Some of us stuggled to finish it all. The staff were friendly. Well priced.Would definitely recommend to any of my friends and will be ordering more from them in the future. keep up the good work.
