Called in today greeted with friendly staff and shown to a table immediately. We opted for the light bite menu I had fish and chips. Chips were proper home made and crispy and fish was a lovely chunky piece of white flaky fish. Everything was piping hot and delicious. Service was great and I would definitely recommend visiting here for great food and service!!
We were a group of 8 accommodated at very short notice at The Newton today. We were made very welcome and the service and food was excellent with very reasonable prices. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and we could relax and enjoy a lovely social time together. Would certainly recommend.Dietary restrictions: Have gluten free options

We went yesterday for Sunday lunch. There had been a mix up with our booking but the staff could not have been more helpful and quickly found a table for us. The food was excellent and it was so lovely that they catered for our 2-year old granddaughter with their baby bowl portion. All the staff on duty were an absolute credit to The Newton.Dietary restrictions: Offered dairy free dessert options so we could all have a pudding.
